The string+controller principle is right, the same name must be controlled by the same party in every system, or set aside for that party's exclusive use. Our integrations follow a registrant-directed model instead of a registry-bilateral one: any domain holder can publish association records in their own DNSSEC-signed zone, linking their DNS name to matching names on any Web3 network.
